Getting Here

Ideally, fly into Marsa Alam Airport. From there, the shuttle ride to Kite Village Hamata takes about 2.5 hours. Another option is to fly into Hurghada Airport. In this case, we strongly recommend arriving a day early. From there, the shuttle ride takes about 4.5 hours.

Accommodations

Lagoon-view bungalows built in the Nubian architectural style line up parallel to the lagoon’s shoreline. Just step across the street, and you’re right on the beach. A massive brick vault keeps the interior cool when the air is hot—and warm when it’s cold. Homes built entirely in the style of the ancient pharaohs.

Meals

Every morning, there’s a hearty breakfast buffet. Fresh eggs, granola, pancakes, pastries—everything a hungry kiter’s stomach could want. Dinner is also served buffet-style. In addition to many vegetarian and some vegan dishes, there are, of course, delicious meat dishes as well. And if our in-house fisherman is successful, we’ll have fish, too. For those hunger pangs between meals, the Beach Bar at the spot offers an extensive menu.

Kite Camp

From beginner courses to jump training, we’ll make sure you keep improving! Customized courses for every skill level. A huge flat area provides ideal conditions for both beginners and advanced riders. Attentive and knowledgeable staff on the beach are there to ensure your safety while kiting. Radio training, video analysis, workshops—the full package! But if you’d rather take it a bit easier—we’ll accommodate your preferences.

Is a 1-week kitesurfing vacation too short for you? Or too risky in terms of wind conditions? Play it safe and book a 2-week kitesurfing camp right away!

"A" Package

Would you like to come along but don't want to participate in the kite camp? No problem—just "join in"! This package includes equipment rental for the entire week.

You can plan your day however you like and take part in workshops and side activities (such as trips to other spots or other activities). We’ll guide you through a relaxing stay at the kite lagoon—with a touch of Viennese charm (minimum VDWS Level 5 or equivalent = able to ride consistently in the wind).
