LAND KITE COURSE

Get started in kitesurfing with a session on land and learn to control your kite perfectly in a land kite course. Depending on your individual progress, we may also use a mountainboard.

DETAILS ABOUT THE LAND KITING COURSES

Kitesurfing isn't just a water sport.

Kiting is also possible in the countryside. We now offer kiting lessons in the countryside using mountainboards.
The mountainboard is the kiter's skateboard, with wide wheels for off-road use and foot straps for spectacular jumps.

Procedure

The exact schedule of the course depends on wind and weather conditions. If your land kite course is canceled or interrupted due to wind or weather conditions, the kitesurfing.at wind guarantee applies. You will receive a voucher for the remaining course elements.

Always with you

Be sure to bring sturdy shoes, athletic clothing (appropriate for the weather), sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.

Theory Module

A comprehensive theory session will teach you about the potential dangers of kitesurfing and give you a better understanding of weather conditions and equipment.

Kiteboard and Kite Control

Because you want to perfect your kite handling so that you can perform better on the water right from the start. Due to the low rolling resistance, you need much smaller kites than you would on the water. This allows you to familiarize yourself with the forces and the proper technique much more gradually.

Mountainboard

Because mountainboarders perform the same spectacular maneuvers as kitesurfers do on the water.
