Great kite school! I found out about the class trip to Hamata at Kite Village through an email. We were there last week (Oct. 8–15) and it was awesome.
Really nice people, very attentive. Everything was super well-organized, from the airport to our accommodations—Daniel even made a special trip to the Vienna airport to give us a welcome gift before our flight.
Our instructor for the whole week was Aurel; he really helped us a lot, and we learned so much.
Kiki and Günther at the kit station also took great care of us.
All in all, I can’t recommend it highly enough.
I’ll definitely be going on this trip again!

My son and I took the introductory course, which included water training. We had great instructors, and everything was explained really well—even for kids! Of course, we had even more fun in the water than during the dry training. We’ll definitely be back! 👍

A good friend and I were able to take a two-day kiteboarding course at the school. On the first day, the program included theory and “dry land training.” Despite the extreme heat, it was fun, and the theory was explained very well and in detail. Especially with a sport that can be dangerous, you feel safe when you know exactly what to do in an emergency. On the second day, we were in the water. It’s too bad the lake is so low on water right now, but that’s not the school’s fault. Both Armin (Day 1) and Stefan (Day 2) are passionate instructors who do a great job. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

I can really recommend kitesurfing.at!!! The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, yet everything is very professional and customer-oriented. The instructors are all highly trained, friendly, and patient. I really liked the course structure (X-Large Beginner Course) because everything was handled very flexibly—adapted to the wind conditions.
I’m still working hard at it and look forward to every session on the water!
This sport is definitely addictive :-)

I took the beginner's course. All the instructors were really nice!
Personally, I thought the dryland training with land kites was too long. I also think that flying on land feels completely different from flying with real kites in the water—it was a bit confusing for me. I would extend the time spent on the water.
The second day on the board was just awesome!

Thank you so much for the fun and professional instruction—I felt very comfortable during the private lesson. I had a lesson in the morning, and when the wind died down, I was able to continue the lesson that same afternoon thanks to the wind guarantee. I took the beginner's course. The weather wasn't great (not enough wind), but that's not the school's fault.
Overall, I felt the focus was too much on theory and dryland training and not enough on actually being in the water and learning to kite...
When we finally got the chance to actually stand on the board toward the end of the beginner’s course, it was of course a ton of fun, but for me, that part of the course could have started much earlier. ;) The instructors were all very nice!

I booked a 3-hour private lesson to brush up on my kitesurfing skills.
The kitesurfing school is very well organized and the instructors are nice.
Last weekend the wind was good, but it was also pretty cold.
So it was really nice that there was a small shop on site where you could buy gloves, shoes, and a beanie.
The terrace is also nice; you could sit there after the lesson, sip a Capo, and watch the kiters.
All in all 👍

I took a beginner's course and am very satisfied—the staff is friendly and the support is generally good. The online booking system is also quite convenient.
It's worth noting that you have to pay an additional entrance fee for Nordstrand every time you visit.
I'll definitely be back!

Although it took us many attempts to find reasonably good wind and weather conditions for the individual training sessions, the mood was always great, and everyone was “on the lookout” for the next opportunity for wind. Nice team, and the beer at the bar is great, too!

I took the XL course at Kitesurfing.at last week and was absolutely thrilled.
The whole team is super friendly, professional, and helps you with whatever you need. They really take their time and were extremely accommodating with me, for example, when it came to rescheduling. The whole atmosphere—and the other participants—were super laid-back. And of course, we couldn’t miss out on an “after-work beer” at the beach bar after the sessions. The equipment and the entire facility are also very well-maintained and high-quality.
My instructor on the water was truly TOP-NOTCH and taught me how to handle the kite and the board in a way that was super easy to understand.
After my first few meters on the water, I really got hooked on this sport and definitely want to keep going and come back.

So I can truly recommend this school to ANYONE who’s thinking about starting kitesurfing.

I’m already looking forward to the next session!!

I rented kitesurfing gear as part of the so-called “flat rate” plan. The selection of gear is huge—everything is brand new and top quality. Even on very busy days (summer, weekends, holidays), they always had the right gear in stock. The location is great, and the station has a really laid-back vibe. But the best part is definitely the staff. They’re very knowledgeable, always friendly, funny, and easygoing. It makes you feel right at home. I’ll definitely be signing up for the flat rate again next year!

Booked a day course as a family—great theory and practical instruction for adults and kids. The dry land session—just with the paraglider—was excellent and informative, letting you gain experience steering and controlling the paraglider on your own. The water session was then fun and challenging. A varied and fun day for everyone :)

Great kitesurfing school. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. If there’s no wind, they’ll credit you for the missed lessons (I had two days with ZERO wind). The theory is explained well. The price-to-performance ratio is okay. I’ll definitely be back. A little tip: Check the weather and wind conditions in advance.
